The Preston Trails Rotary Club and the City of Celina are partnering to organize a Toys for Tots drive, along with the American Legion Post 145, Celina High School Ambassadors Club, and Celina Master Networks Downtown Chapter. All toys collected from the Celina Toys for Tots drive will be distributed to Collin County families in need.
The toy drive offers two ways to give back to Collin County kids this holiday season: through donations at the December 7 Toy Drop Event or during business hours at toy drop boxes throughout Celina and the surrounding area. It is important to note that there are several guidelines for toy drive donations:
New toys only
Unwrapped items
For any age or gender
NO realistic-looking weapons
NO food
Toy Drop Event
Toy drop boxes will be located throughout Celina and neighboring areas, accepting donations through Tuesday, December 7. The toy drive will culminate in a Toy Drop Event in front of Celina City Hall (142 N. Ohio St) on December 7 from 6-9 PM. Vehicles will stop in front of City Hall and volunteers from the U.S. Marines Corps Reserve and partner agencies will be onsite with Santa to collect toys from vehicles.
