Oktoberfest is officially here!
We are thrilled to bring this beloved tradition under the City of Celina's official lineup of signature events. Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 3, from 3:00-7:00 PM for a free, family-friendly celebration filled with German music, dancing, food, contests, local shopping, and plenty of Celina spirit.
Dust off your lederhosen and bring the whole family for an afternoon of traditional live music and folk dancing, authentic German fare, handcrafted goods from local vendors, and some of Oktoberfest’s favorite competitions. Think you have what it takes? Cheer on the contestants, or join the fun, with the Dachshund Dash, Keg Rolling, Brat Eating Contest, Beer Stein Race, and Stein Hoisting!
Enjoy live music from The Dogensteins, STV Almrausch, and The Royal Klobasneks, featuring polka and traditional German, Austrian, Czech, and American sounds.
From traditional German music, Bavarian food, lively contests, and festive vendors, there’s something for everyone at Celina Oktoberfest.

The Dogensteins are a polka band, that plays rock, country, metal, industrial, new wave, classics, and The Beatles. Lots of Beatles. Except as a polka. Or maybe waltz, or a nice Texas shuffle.
STV Almrausch supports cultural diversity and ethnic understanding through the preservation and perpetuation of traditional Bavarian and Tirolean folk dancing, music, customs, costumes and culture.
The Royal Klobasneks are dedicated to preserving the traditional American polka sound for today's modern audience. Closest in sound to the 'Old Time' bands popular in the American Midwest they have a lively sound that's timeless yet timely, featuring Czech, German, and Austrian music, as well as American polkas, waltzes, and pop songs.

Live Gator Shows & Petting Zoo
We are excited to welcome Gator Country back to Celina Cajun Fest!
Experience two captivating 45-minute shows hosted by Gator Country, designed to educate audiences on the vital role of the American alligator conservation. These engaging presentations will also include information on crocodiles, snakes, and other native reptiles, including turtles, tortoises, and lizards. Get your hands up for a chance to participate in the show!
A unique hands-on experience with these remarkable reptiles will be available to attendees after each show. Participants can feed tortoises and interact with baby alligators in a supervised environment where their mouths are safely taped. Ticket purchases for this petting zoo directly support the Gator Country Adventure Park, which serves as the largest Alligator Adventure Park & Sanctuary in Southeast Texas.

The City of Celina has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals age 16 years or older. Volunteering offers a great way to get connected and give back to the community. Our volunteers are a valuable and much-appreciated resource for our fast-growing City and the myriad activities in the community.
