It's no secret that Celina loves a good festival, and those who have attended Beware! of the Square know that it's one of the City's best. Drawing thousands of zombies, jedis, and princesses to the historic downtown Square each year, this event offers the perfect mix of spooky and sweet.
We are so excited to announce that the City of Celina was designated the official Halloween Capital of North Texas by Collin County Judge Chris Hill in 2021. Learn more about this unique distinction by reading the official proclamation.

EVENT DETAILS
All market vendors will be participating in trick-or-treating starting at 4pm – till candy runs out. Make sure to pick up your complimentary trick-or-treat bag from Celina Ace Hardware! The FREE kids zone is sponsored by Cook Children's Health Care System and includes: ninja rock climbing tower, rides, bounce houses, and carnival games! Walk (or run!) through the CISD Haunted House if you dare...Don't miss the magic and cirque shows under the Pavilion (on the south side of the festival grounds) sponsored by KMI AC/Heating. Shop local vendors and enjoy all the food and drink you can! Plus, new this year: a pumpkin decorating contest at the event!
PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST!
Carved, painted, bedazzled – get creative! Contestants will drop off decorated pumpkins prior to the event and they will be displayed at the event on Saturday. Voting will take place at the event by the attendees with PRIZES for the winners!

Donate to save lives at Beware! of the Square.
Before you donate, you will vote for Celina Police Department or Celina Fire Department for a friendly Public Safety Competition. Last year's victor was Celina Police Department...who will take home the trophy this year??
