Calling all ghouls and goblins! On October 26, Downtown Celina will transform into our most spooktacular event of the year! We didn't claim the Halloween Capital of North Texas for nothing! With trick-or-treating, a haunted house, escape rooms, a FREE kids zone, pumpkin painting, and over 60 market vendors there is something for Halloween enthusiasts of all ages!
It's no secret that Celina loves a good festival, and those who have attended Beware! of the Square know that it's one of the City's Best. Drawing thousands of zombies, jedis, and princesses to Celina's Downtown Square each year, this event offers the perfect mix of spooky and sweet.
We are proud to share that the City of Celina was designated the official Halloween Capital of North Texas by Collin County Judge Chris Hill in 2021.

Pumpkin Decorating Day on The Square with Celina Public Library!
Get ready for a spooktacular afternoon of pumpkin carving and decorating fun! We've teamed up with the Celina Public Library to host a Pumpkin Decorating Day on Wednesday, October 23rd, from 4-6pm on The Square. Submit your pumpkin for the Pumpkin Decorating Contest at Beware! of the Square for a chance to win prizes. We will provide pumpkins and decorations (supplies limited). You are welcome to BYOP (bring your own pumpkin) or supplies.
Calling All Young Artists!
Join the City of Celina's Beware! of the Square Bookmark Contest and showcase your talent by illustrating Celina as a Ghost Town. Your creation could become the official bookmark for the 2024 event! Grab your art supplies, let your imagination soar, and submit your masterpiece for a chance to be a local art sensation.

*Applications are through Eventeny, which is a free platform for vendors to create a profile and apply. Please note, all applying vendors are required to enter a credit/debit card. Once approved to participate, you will be sent an approved message & invoice through Eventeny (also sent to your email). Payment will automatically be charged 5 business days after payment notification using the card you applied with. Please contact events@celina-tx.gov if you have any questions or concerns.

The City of Celina has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals age 16 years or older. Volunteering offers a great way to get connected and give back to the community. Our volunteers are a valuable and much-appreciated resource for our fast-growing City and the myriad of activities in the community.
